The Munster Juvenile B’s, relays, intermediate & Masters XC were held yesterday in Clarecastle GAA grounds. This was the final XC fixture of the season. Conditions were far from ideal with subzero temperatures & fog. This didn’t deter our Juveniles who took it in their stride and went on to bring home 3 Gold & 2 Silver Medals.
The Girls U10 Relay team Rachel, Aoife, Zara & Crea came 6th in a very competitive race.
Boys U10 relay with Tom Keogh, Rian Murphy, Ben McDermott & Jack Ryan took Silver.
Boys U12 relay team Danny McDermott, Rian Kiely Keogh, Killian Coman & Darragh Whelan took Gold.
Both Faye Moore U13 & John Farrell U13 took individual Gold.
The U16 mixed relay team Sarah O’ Halloran, Tom Quigley, Lily Reid & Tadgh Purcell took Silver.
Derek Kiely & Joe Laffan competed in the masters in a very competitive field.
Sandra Ryan was part of the Limerick County Team that took Bronze in the Masters O50 category.
