Limerick AC hereby gives notice to all members, parents and guardians that the Annual General Meeting of the club will take place from 7pm on Wednesday the 3rd of December 2025 in the Castletroy Park Hotel.
Nominations for committee membership and motions for discussion must be received by the Club Secretary no later than 5pm on Wednesday the 26th of November.
The AGM will be followed by an evening of celebration to recognise the pioneering women of Limerick Athletics.
In 1962 a group of women including, Mary Cronin, Patsy O’Regan, Mary Flanaghan, Chris Kelly, Joan Kelly, Patsy Sheehan and Breda Shaughnessy (RIP) became the first female members of Limerick AC and in doing so set the standard for all those women who came behind them.
The event will formally recognise the contribution these women have made to athletics both locally in Limerick and nationally.
The event will take place from 8pm, all welcome.
