There may have been a small number from the club running in Riverstick at the weekend but they certainly left their mark with victory for Tasha Kelly in the Intermediate Women’s race and 2nd place for Rian Noonan in the u9 Boys. Rian was backed up by Cian O’Brien 10th, Roan Treacy 18th and Ross O’Neill 20th which also ensured the team silver.
Competing in her first Munster Intermediate competition Tasha was a run away winner finishing over 45secs clear of second place.
Elsewhere in the u13 Boys race George O’Brien finished in 17th positions. Congratulations to everyone who competed at the weekend.
Next up are the National Senior and Even Age Cross Country Championships on Sunday the 23rd in Derry. Conall Redmond and Alana Ryan are members of the Munster teams in the u12 races while the club has teams in both the u14 and u16 Boys races. Good luck to all involved.
