The year may only just have started but our athletes were straight out of the blocks yesterday at the national juvenile combined events championships coming home with a fantastic set of bronze medals.
Zara Coman won bronze in the u14 girls competition while Charlie Smith also took bronze in the u14 boys event. There were also excellent performances from Elaine Considine, Aayla Coymns and Julie Quigley in the u14 girls event.
As the competition doubled up as the Munster Championships, Charlie won gold while Zara won Silver.
