The weather was perfect on Sunday for the Great Limerick Run, dry and a bit cool, which helped the record entries enjoy a memorable day out. There were over 2,600 entries in the marathon, 6,500 in the half marathon and 10,000 in the 6mile.
A big shout out to the club volunteers who helped marshal the marathon around and through UL.
There were also some great runs from club members across the three races.
In the Marathon Tom Shanahan dipped under 3hrs with and impressive 2.57, while Sean Walsh was close behind in 3.08. Aisling McElligott was first lady from the club home in 3.42. In the half marathon Damien Tracey ran 1.29 while in the 6mile Joe Laffan was 10th overall. Ciara Dunne, Emily Murphy and Roisin Doyle were amongst others who competed in the 6 mile.
