Day 3 of the juvenile championships was another scorcher weather wise but it didn’t stop our athletes performing with Personal Bests for Aayla Coymns in the u14 200m which qualified her for the final, and for Killian Coman in the u15 200m and Crea Moore in the u14 1500m. Dáire O’Dwyer also had a strong performance in the u17 300mH in only his second time over the barriers.
While Darragh Whelan may not have run a PB he was a clear winner of the u16 1500m. Next stop for Darragh is the School’s international in Belfast on Saturday. Good luck to him from everyone in the club.
