The club were well represented at the Dublin Marathon on Sunday with some excellent runs across the board.
First home was Shane Eades in an outstanding 32nd place overall in a time of 2.28.25. Shane’s run is even more impressive given it’s barely a month since he ran 2.29 in Berlin.
In his first outing for Limerick AC, Cian Aherne ran a PB of 2.42.30 and managed to photo bomb the Irish Women’s Champion’s TV interview. Joe Laffin also made the TV finishing in 2.47.21 while Damien Treacy was home in 3.21. Neil O’Connail finished in 3.42 while his brother Catha (next to Neil in the picture) was fastest of the o60 men. Mark Quigley finished in a time of 4.25 and John Reid finished in 4.39.
Apologies if we missed anyone – let us know how you got on.
