Monday saw the launch of the Cook Medical Mini Marathon at the Strand Hotel, Limerick. Established by the club in 1999, this year is the 27th annual running of the event, and the 10th edition with Cook Medical as title sponsor.
The race has helped local charities raise over €200,000 in the past 5 years, with over €50,000 being raised in 2024. The club are very proud that a race that stared with humble beginnings is now one of the biggest contributors to charities in Limerick each year.
The club would like to sincerely thank Carla DiBenedetto, HR Director and Race Ambassador from Cook Medical for their continued support of the race, and John Cleary and his staff at EventMaster for all the work they do annually to delivery a great day for everyone.
