A huge congratulations to all our athletes who took part in the various Munster T&F age group categories over the last 2 weekends, the results below speak for themselves. Not only the number of medallists and qualifiers for the National Championships, but also in the numbers taking part and the range of events entered. We had competitors in virtually every event across the age categories, with special mention to the Ellen’s in the u12 2km walk who both literally took up the event last week.

Some notable performances included doubles by Roise Gavan in the u19 Girls 100m & 200m and Darragh Whelan in the u15 Boys 800m and 1500m, both in Championship Record times. The Boys u18 4x400m also set a Championship record winning the 4x400m relay.
