On a glorious weekend weather wise the club once again enjoyed success at the Munster Juvenile u9 to u12 and u13 to u16 Combined Event Championships.
In the individual events, Caoimhe Burke won gold in the u10 500m, while there were silvers for Elsie Grant in the u11 Turbo Javelin, Conor Noonan in the u12 High Jump, Conall O’Cearnaigh in the u12 Shot Putt and the u12 girls 4×100 (Roisin Moore, Klaudija King, Allie O’Neill, Mable Anderson, Aisling Ryan and Sadhbh Thornton). Emma Corbett won bronze in the u10 Turbo Javelin and Polly MacPhail also won bronxe in the u11 600m.
In the team events Polly MacPhail ad Ciardha Ryan were 2nd in the u11 600m while Elsie Grant and Ella Fahy were 3rd in the u11 Turbo Javelin.
There was more evidence of the strength in depth emerging in the Combined Events where Zara Coman won gold and Charlie Smith won silver at u14, while Anna Murphy and George O’Brien both won bronze at u13.
