A big thanks to Darragh Spain and Kevin Thompson at 123.ie and David Gillick who visited the club last night to see what we do and help promote our upcoming 150th anniversary. It was great to see so many of our younger athletes turn up despite the weather; they managed to give David a run for his money over 50m despite the conditions.
David was an absolute gentlemen with the children and is truly a great ambassador for Irish Athletics as well as 123.ie. He says he learned it all off Tom Comyns who he roomed with at his first senior international.
